The parent's guide
Your space shows you your children's schooling: their timetable, their grades, their absences. You can submit an absence note there and write to the teaching team.
In brief
- How to activate your access — there is one step the school cannot do for you.
- What you see, and what you do not.
- How to receive only the alerts that matter to you.
Getting into your space
- The school declares you They link you to your child and send you an email.
- You confirm the link Open the link you receive and confirm. That is the step that opens your access, and nobody can do it for you.
- You choose your password You then land straight in your space.
Seeing nothing?
Until you have confirmed from the email you received, your space stays empty: no grades, no absences, no timetable. Look for the confirmation email, junk folder included, or ask the school to send it again.
Two other possible explanations: the school has switched the parent portal off — which is the default in training centres, where the learner has their own access — or its subscription has run out.
What you can do
Choosing your alerts
Kiteba can tell you about an absence, a late arrival, a published grade, a message or an announcement. For each kind, you decide whether to see it in the app, receive it by email, or neither.
Absences and late arrivals by email, the rest in the app only. You hear about what matters without being buried. See Your notifications.
