What Kiteba does
Kiteba brings together in one place what usually lives in a spreadsheet, a mark book and an inbox. Your school gets a space of its own, separate from every other school.

What you will do with Kiteba

You do not have to set everything up on day one. Most schools start with students and the timetable, then add assessments once term has settled.
Your kind of school
You choose it when you sign up, and you can change it later in the settings. It drives the wording used across the app and a few default settings.

Who sees what
Everyone who signs in holds a role, and that role decides what they see and what they can change. The four colours below appear throughout the app — badges, avatars, cards — and throughout this documentation.

How students and parents fit together
A student does not necessarily have an account. In primary school their data flows through their parents, and that is perfectly fine. If you do want to open one, the administrator creates it on request: the student gets a temporary password and must choose a new one on first sign-in.
Linking a parent to a child takes two steps: the administrator declares the link, the parent confirms it from an email. Until that confirmation happens, the parent sees nothing — that is normal, and it is what protects the child's data.
The 15-day trial
Every school that signs up starts with 15 days free, no card required. Everything is unlocked during that period: it is the right moment to import your students and build your timetable.
A full-screen message blocks every action, and that applies to everyone — teachers, students and parents included, not just you. Picking a paid plan restores access immediately, with nothing lost. See Billing and subscription.
Working in your own language
The app exists in nine languages: French, English, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian and Arabic — the last one displayed right to left.
Language is a personal setting, never imposed by the school. Everyone picks their own from their profile, and two colleagues can happily work side by side in two different languages on the same data.
